What to expect when you book with Coastal Building Inspections.
With banks, agents and loans it can be a stressful time purchasing a home. We know that you’re working on a time limit and we try and make the process simple. With experienced builders who are qualified to inspect your property prior to purchase. We know what to look for when inspecting a home. We contact the real estate agent to arrange a time and can usually access the property within 24 hours. Once we have a time booked, we’ll send you a confirmation email and can even call you on the day to discuss the report and any major concerns. We welcome any questions you may have; we want to put your mind at ease that you’re making the right decision.
Our Thermal Imaging Technology, works like x-ray vision on your potential new home. Using state of the art technology, we can find defects that others night miss like;
Water leaks and damp areas where water has seeped in, which can lead to destructive and dangerous mould
Hidden infestations, the heat from the termite colony can be detected

With our moisture reader we can identify hidden defect deep inside your walls without having to break through them. With over 15 years of experience as a builder, we can also explain why the issue has occurred and can suggest how it can be rectified.
Our inspections comply with the highest standards set out by the Australian Building Standards AS4349.1-2007 and AS 4349.3-2010 Visual Timber Pest Inspection Reports. Our reports are around 60 pages of detailed information, alerting you to any issues or areas of concern for any future maintenance that might be required.
